Moving Day (Well, Phase One)

We officially picked the hottest day to move. I was dreading it all week. but figured at least there wasnt rain in the forecast. This is phase one of our big move. Our stuff will live in Okoboji until December. We will be at the lake for a couple days and then make a trip to Cedar Falls before we fly out. For one week we don't have a home.

We packed up our stuff in West Des Moines yesterday morning. Nick joined us to help and my parents brought lunch and more muscles.

We were strategic about the packing of the truck and ended up having extra space. We also packed our cars with TVs and our suitcases.

When we arrived in Okoboji we had more help from Jed and Julie. Now their basement is full of our stuff, Nick's stuff and Trav's stuff. It's a full basement!

Let's just say we're all glad to have the move over with. Thank you to everyone that helped out.

Now we can enjoy the holiday weekend on the lake.
