One Saint Francis Place

Ahhh, home sweet home. We moved into a new apartment last night. Really it was just across the courtyard (shout out to Marriott!) area from where we were for the last 5 or so days. It makes a huge difference knowing that this will be our home until December. Now we can settle and feel more like we're home.

Both apartments were fully furnished which meant we only had to move our clothes and whatnot from Iowa. There are a few differences between apartments I've notice already: first place had hardwood floors, updated appliances, stiff couch and flat screen TV. This new (and permanent) place has carpet, dated appliances, a very comfy couch, bulky TV, FREE internet (yes!) plus a laundry basket. I'd say we made a good trade off.

Here are some pictures of our place. Oh and the art on the wall is bad so please don't judge, I didn't pick them out.

Another difference: our temporary apartment was on the first floor. Now we're on the 7th. Although 7 floors up doesn't give us the best view, any view helps.

Now to get all of our clothes put away again and these pesky boxes out of the living room. One step at a time.

PS - did anyone watch the USA Women's Soccer game today? Wowzers! Maybe I'm the only one that doesn't have a normal job right now and could watch the.whole.game. Go USA!
